Exploration

For this, I messed with some graphics and typography and created an image where the coffees steam spelled out coffee. 

I enjoy Typograph, so much so that sometimes I just redesign the way simple words would look. For this special occasion, I was "wishing" people a happy holiday.

At one point, I had this project I thought I could do but later scraped it as I didn't have the time. But what it was going to be showcasing - design wise - was these Greek and roman sculptures with tattoos. 

This was another typography based exploration for me. I had just finished reading "Emma" by Jane Austen and thought "why not change the type on the book cover I had received - not Jessica Hische's version saddly - and make it more fitting for Emma's character.

This was actually a challenge for me. I wanted to see if I could make a strong image with Type only with four colors. The colors where Blue (light and dark), Pink and Red. Oddly enough, once I finished this, I realized how much I enjoy doing challenging projects that have a restriction, very much like a limited color palette

Sometimes I like to dabble back in the tradition mediums, and this one specifically was watercolor. Looks delicious, right?

I had entered a competition for typographers and graphic designers and created a small image that represents "Tehran". Luckily I was one the top few out of however many, but this is not the one that was selected as I had three submissions. You can find the winning selection in the link above.

We all been here before? Feeling this way? Now unprofessional, most likely, but this was something I had fun with it as when we say this statement, we scream it with anger. Well the way I designed the type is actually supposed to be the opposite, as it seems more professional and "fancy" in some way, the opposite of how one would say this statement.
