Film Festival Posters

Every year. the city of Toronto, Canada hold a Film Festival. This film festival is open for anyone and has a large range of genres and level of expertise on view. Ranging from student films to big blockbuster films. And this festival goes on for ten days so there is no chance you won't find something you would enjoy.

Now they sometimes have a theme, but it should never effect the films, but what if for once, they had a theme that was based on one genre of media. What if it was a festival about documentaries?

The craze for documentaries has grown over the years - and dragged me down the tunnel with it. From serial killers to simply explaining where the F word had come from, documentaries cover tons of topics while still keeping it interesting for their viewers. With the number one documentaries watched mostly being around serial killers and murdered or unsolved mystery's, this leads us to people who are Sleuths - people who are not detectives but spend long hours of their day trying to solve cases.

For this project, I took this concept and brought it to life through posters and dark images, but what really brought it to life was the Type.
