Mothers Fancy Boutique Hotel

Imagine a boutique on the small country side, where there is open fields and tons of activity's. How does it look? Small or big? Wooden or modern? Either way, all you imagine is a building, but what about the history behind it?

With this project, we not only create a boutique hotel from scratch, but we created some form of life within that boutique.

This boutique I created is called Mothers Fancy, as the story behind the hotel follows that of a strong mother who raised three boys, took care of the house, but also grew to express herself within her house. Each of the rooms and activity's is based on how "Carolynn" lived her life - but mainly how she enjoyed the night life.

This Boutique hotels main job it to cater to those that either have insomnia or enjoy the night much more then the day time. At the time of creating this, I personally struggled with Insomnia and due to the energy I would get at night and no outlet to let it out, I realized how little people catered to those that struggled just like me.

With this hotel, you not only get to feel the love Carolynn put into the foundation but you also get to experience the love of the moonlight. With night time weddings, horse back riding/hiking at sundown, food service throughout the night, and much more. The whole point of the boutique is to just relax, enjoy the countryside and do what you want, but this time when the sun is down. It's what Carolynn would have wanted.
